Anime Recommendations: Macross Frontier

   An anime that's about mechas fighting, state of the art future technology, singing, and a love triangle. Macross Frontier takes place in the year 2059, where humanity tries to seek out a new home world after Earth has been left to  ruin after the major war against a race of giants called the "Zentradi", but after introducing "Deculture" to the Zentradi, they live in peace. After many years pass, Humanity has taken to the stars in search for a new home unfortunately, a new enemy emerges as the 55th Super Long-Distance Emigration Fleet continues the expedition for a new home. This threat is beyond the New United Nations Spacey's average pilot could handle eventually it is up to the SMS to deal with this threat with the "VF-25 Messiah" a veritech that can transform into 3 modes: Fighter- a standard Fighter Jet; Battroid- a mecha verison of itself; and GERWALK- a mode that is a combination of fighter and Battroid mode. Because of the Macross Series' reputation it focuses on battle music, love triangles and romance.
